About Me

A change in career is something I am ready to explore due to working in a nursery setting for 12 years, with the knowledge I’ve gained during this time, I could apply to a family. I am a hardworking, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable individual, who is committed to promoting a child’s development. Regular rotation around the nursery meant that I became easily adaptable in different environments, gained new relationships, and maintained structure and routine. I found a love of being in a home environment during my time on maternity leave. It provided me with a chance to dedicate my love and attention to my family and home and this is something I am hoping to provide in someone else’s home environment.

My Experience

My previous experience is being Deputy Nursery Manager working in a busy Cheltenham nursery. I have been working in childcare for 12 years +. In this time I have completed my NVQ level 2 and 3 in childcare and development. Through this role I have built exceptional relationships with the children and their families that I work with. I have also completed many courses including First aid training, Food safety and hygiene, The prevent duty and British values, Biting in early years, In the moment planning and special educational needs.
