Huma started caring for our daughter when she was around 15 months old, and from our very first meeting we knew she was special. Our daughter was very clingy at the time, yet Huma instantly put her at ease through gentle play and warmth, which gave us immediate confidence.

Our daughter has additional medical needs that require careful monitoring. Huma approached this with complete calm and professionalism, welcomed guidance from healthcare professionals, and keeps us updated every day. As a parent, the peace of mind this has given us — especially when returning to work — has been invaluable.

Now at 2 years and 8 months old, our daughter is thriving. She is genuinely happy to go each morning and comes home content and settled. Huma provides a loving, nurturing environment with nutritious home-cooked meals, regular updates with photos and videos, outings, birthday celebrations, and a truly inclusive approach that celebrates all cultures and festivals.

What sets Huma apart is how deeply she cares. She goes above and beyond for both the children and their families, and has truly become like extended family to us — something that means so much as we don’t have family nearby. Her assistant is also wonderful: kind, friendly, and clearly loved by the children.

Best childminder

Huma looked after my daughter Nela since she was 18 months old and I am so glad I found her. Huma is incredibly friendly, kind, funny, patient and loving person. She provides tasty snacks and lunches, variety of activities (games, crafts, walks, outings), celebrates birthdays of kids that she looks after. She sends updates and pictures via WhatsApp everyday. During half terms Huma looks after my older daughter who is 9 as well. Both of my girls are always very enthusiastic about spending time at Huma's settings. And because of the love she shows towards my kids and the love they feel about her I feel she is someone special, more that childminder. English is not our first language but I was surprised by progress my daughter made in this matter and I know it's because of quality time spent at Huma's settings. Also Nela got very confident and independent with putting up shoes and clothes so big thank you Huma! Nela started her reception year and she misses Huma so much. I gladly recommend Huma to anyone looking for childcare.

The best ever childminder

Huma is wonderful childminder. My daughter was with her since 14 months until 2 years (as then we moved to another town). My DD was always happy to be there, she settled within a week and never was upset about being with Huma and not with mum. The most important is that Huma loves kids like own. I always felt that special attitude to kids and everyone was happy there.
Also during that year my DD learnt so many things, that i doubt she would do at home. Huma taught her good manners and also encourage her independence. At the end of year she could eat herself, was almost potty trained, helped to put toys in basket, could undress herself. Also she learnt a lot of school things like some letters, counting, colours, etc. She learnt words and started to communicate. So i truly believe it's all due to Huma's attitude and efforts.
From parents perspective it was really easy to deal with Huma - she's very approachable and helpful, always listens to you and does her best to help. The facilities for kids were really good.
I also like that she sent us photos every day so we can share that moments of life.
Huma is the ideal childminder and we were so upset when we moved away without her. Highly recommend.

Simply superb

Huma looked after our daughter in her childminder setup for one and half years and we don't think we could have got anyone better. She had been excellent in how she looked after our daughter and prepared her for school. We, as a parent, were impressed with her even before our daughter started with her. We were in desperate need of a childminder and despite not having a vacancy with her she helped us a lot with lots of information which helped us in reaching many people but still we couldn't find any vacancy and that was blessing in disguise as we could opt for her as soon as a sudden vacancy popped up. It didn't take her long to get our daughter adjusted to her settings mainly because of excellent love and affection she gave her which continues even now. She has a very good schedule for kids and follows good routine of learning while playing. You will get timely updates on progress of the kid that keeps you aware of kids progress. Daily picture updates must be tiring but she does it regularly so that you don't miss your kids various activities. Food has never been a problem as our daughter enjoyed every meal she cooked. She also makes sure that all kids get to know each other's culture by celebrating some of the biggest festivals in whatever way possible. Activities are the biggest part of daily routine and she is very good at helping your kid to prepare something for you for special occasions like birthdays or festivals. We never faced any issues with her ever even when we had to ask her few times to extend our daughter's stay due to some emergencies at work. She has an excellent communication skill and always ready for any sort of feedbacks. Overall it was a lovely experience for us and our daughter misses going to her a lot and she is ever ready to meet Huma. Thanks Huma for all the great love and care extended to our daughter. All the very best for the future. For any working parents we would very happily recommend her. Don't think twice if you find the vacancy otherwise it will be gone :)

Best childminder ever

We had both of our girls cared for by Huma for quite some time. She is kids and caring and truly loves having the children with her. She taught them so much and helped my selective eater to become more confident around trying foods. She takes time to get to know each child and make every day fun for them
