About Me

Hi, I am an Ofsted registered childminder (since 2010) and previous to that I worked at Ravensdale Primary school. I am happily married for 30yrs with one grown up daughter. I have been graded 'GOOD' in my last 4 inspections, last one being Nov 2024

My Experience

I have been a childminder since 2010 and previous to that I worked at Ravensdale Primary school for 7 yrs as a dining room assistant and in a nursery and playgroup setting.
I have an OFSTED registered certificate and an up to date DBS which I can provide on a visit.
I love my job and take great pleasure in teaching little ones new experiences and watching them grow and learn. I am experienced in looking after little ones from birth and the youngest mindee being 10 weeks old. I have a very local park in which we visit often and meet up with friends and a large garden. We visit toddler groups in which the little ones form friendships with familiar friends.
I am friendly and approachable so please don't hesitate to contact me if you are interested.

My Qualifications

I am a qualified OFSTED registered childminder. I have done all the courses recommended for childminding and so many others that will help me to be a better childminder in caring and educating your child. I have also done a City and Guilds NVQ2 Early Years Care and Education. Other courses I have done are speech and language, schemas (very interesting), up to date first aid, safeguarding, FGM, Prevent Duty and many many others.

My Availability

I do drop offs and pick ups from Ravensdale Primary School in Wyken and if available offer babysitting services.
