About Me
My name is Paula and I have 3 grown up children and twin Granddaughters age 5.
I live in Wells with my oldest daughter and have a pet dog and cats. I am a driver and have 2 car seats for young children in my car.
I do one off babysitting at the moment if available at the time.
I have a DBS that is recent and a Level 3 Safeguarding certificate.
I am continuing to train in all areas of childcare, have recently passed a Level 3 Childminding course with distinction.
I have passed early years teacher training Level 3 and Paediatric first aid Level 3 with Higher distinction, also health and nutrition Level 3.
I have completed 12 hours Paediatric first aid with St John's ambulance, 2 full days training. Certificate is valid for 3 years.
All my qualifications and DBS are available to show on meeting to discuss childcare.
I have always enjoyed working with children and have plenty of experience. I have a caring and understanding nature. Always encourage good self esteem and positivity.
I am only available for babysitting (night time)/Nannying at the moment on Fri, Sat, Sun if I'm not already booked. I may have more availability short term sometimes.
My Experience
I have years of experience looking after children from birth to teenagers. I am NNEB qualified and have worked in a nursery. First aid course completed. I worked in an education setting for 8 years in a Steiner school as an assistant . I home educated my own children and have helped run many groups.
I have worked with many families with young and older children and throughly enjoyed each position.
My Qualifications
NNEB qualified, Paediatric first aid certificate valid for 3 years, early years Teacher training Level 3. Food hygiene certificate. Level 3 Childminding course with distinction. Safeguarding Level 3, Health and nutrition Level 3.
I do have a DBS, will provide on meeting with the family.
My Availability
My availability depends on when I am booked. I do one off babysitting only at the moment.
I always meet families before looking after children.

My Fees
- Nannying from £15.00 per hour (net)
Nanny/mother's help £15 per hour depending on how many children and distance. £15-18per hour after 10pm depending on distance and other requirements.
Babysitting (child in bed night time) weekdays £15 per hour till 10pm then £18 till midnight £20 after midnight, £15 per hour at weekends. Some negotiation can be made as a flat fee for overnights. Time and a half for Bank Holiday weekend and the Monday.
