My Summary

My Experience

I have vast experience with children of all ages. One of my early positions was running a children's holiday club whilst working on the Greek Island of Rhodes. I have had positions as a live in nanny as well as a daily nanny. Since having my own children (28+31) I have child minded an 8 month old baby and worked in a school assisting a child with speech and language problems,this was one of my longest positions working along side him from reception to year 6. Whilst working at the school I also enjoyed working as teaching assistant, where I would work with small groups of children doing maths and literacy activities as well one to one reading. This has given me some fantastic skills when assisting children to read and enjoy books. My last role was working as a nanny to two small boys 2 and 4 . I was with the family for 18 months,3 days a week in Walton on Thames. Duties included,school runs,shopping,cooking,fun activities,outings, arranging play dates and all nursery duties. I loved being part of the family but unfortunately the family relocated overseas due to work commitments.
I’ve been in my current role since October 2014. At the time,there was one boy 18months. In August 2016 his little sister was born. I primarily still had sole charge of the eldest child but did assist mum with the baby, until she returned to work when the baby was around 4 months. This role went from four days to two days as of March 2024. I was able to find a lovely family in June that same year and they employed me to look after their 15 month old daughter two days a week.
But all good things must come to an end and my long term family no longer require a nanny.

My Qualifications

I am NNEB trained as well as holding a City and Guild certificate for Community care, which includes child and human development.

My Availability

I am seeking a nanny role that will run along side my present employment. I’m currently available on Tuesday and Thursday but can be flexible with days as my current employer can also be very flexible.
Looking ideally for a September start .

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £17.00 per hour (net)

Am seeking £going rate.
