Hi, my name is Georgie. I am a mother to 2 boys, Riley 11 and Aston 5
And also (step) mother to 2 older sons and 7 year old daughter who lives with us.
I am an Ofsted registered 'GOOD' (Nov 22).
I have a lovely playroom and plenty of space for children to play inside and a garden providing lots of outdoor space for children to run around and play.
Our family also consists of my partner Lee, our 2 cats and our little dog who loves children.
I am reliable, fun loving and committed. I make use of local activities, I regularly attend playgroups and enjoy the great outdoors-trips to the park, nature walks in the woods, puddle splashing walks and walking our little dog!
I have a wide range of resources-toys, music, story books and arts and crafts to get creative and messy with-such as painting, drawing, making things, baking things and growing things!
I am part of the local 'Childminding Network', which involves regular meetings with other local Childminders to keep up to date with changes and training. I regularly meet socially with other local childminders for play dates with the children and to plan activities together.
I aim to provide a 'home from home' environment where children will feel happy, content and comfortable to express themselves and have fun while learning along the way.
My Experience
I have been childminding for 9 years and have had previous experience looking after children from a young age, from babysitting, working as a carer for young children, volunteering in schools, childminding for children 0+ and being a mummy myself.

We met Georgie back in August 2023 when our little girl was 7 months old. I needed childcare for her but was conscious of her being so young so knew nursery wouldn’t have been the right place for her. When we came across Georgie she made us feel so comfortable and our little girl settled in very quickly to the caring and fun environment Georgie provides.
We noticed a big difference in how quick Alba was learning new skills when she started going to Georgie which was really encouraging and great for her development.
She would also come home after a morning with Georgie and have a lovely long nap which was always a bonus for me!
We will definitely be back when our next baby arrives!

My Daughter started with Georgie when she was just over 1 years old, it was my first time leaving her in a childcare setting and I couldn't have been happier with Georgie. My Daughter loved going to her and it really felt like home from home.
Georgie took the children out for days out and to the local playgroup which my Daughter loved.
Myself and my Daughter were sad when it was time for her to start Nursery and to leave Georgie. Could not recommend her enough.

Overall I was impressed with Georgie and how she works.
From the day we met Georgie, I knew this would be the best place for my son to be when I was at work. My son was 2 when he started and it was his first time being in a childcare setting. He was with Georgie for almost a year.
I am so grateful for the photo updates and thoughtful activities that happened when my son was in her care, which we will be able to keep forever.
It was lovely to meet Georgie and her family. This is definitely a home from home environment and we were sad when it was time to move on.

Firstly as Kayla’s parents would like to thank Georgie for taking care of our daughter from the age 6months till she left for Reception.As first time parents we were anxious about leaving our daughter but she made that transition seamless , always updating us with photos and some artwork they were doing with Georgie. I would have never been able to cope with going to work .Georgie was amazing , patient , understanding and good with all the little ones she looked after .I would highly recommend her and parents would not be disappointed x

I met Georgie two years ago when I was looking for a childminder for my son Lucas, who has now been under her care since.
My first impression of Georgie was of a prepared and caring person but I must admit, the quality of care Georgie has provided to my son so far really has gone beyond our expectations. Georgie provides a safe and fun environment, engages children into a variety of activities, both indoor and outdoor, which promote development and socialising.
In one occasion Lucas became very ill while at Georgie's and I could not pick him up straight away as I was at work and got stuck in traffic. In the meantime Georgie had already booked him at the doctor's and we eventually met at the surgery. That really consolidated further the complete trust we put on her not only as a professional but, most of all, as a caring and compassionate person.
Lucas absolutely loves staying at Georgie's and we wouldn't leave him with anyone else.
