About Me
Early Years Professional - Anna’s Super Troopers Childcare Services. I have been married to my husband Paul for 28 years and we have two grown up children. We live at Springhill, Grendon Underwood. I am Ofsted graded ‘good’ with over 20 years experience of working in childcare. I enjoy music, play the flute & often bring this passion into my Setting, which the children really enjoy. Since lockdown, we have also been enjoying yoga which is not only good for keeping fit it also helps our mental help as well as being lots of fun too! We have a large enclosed garden with the exciting new addition of our summer house for the children to play in. We are also very lucky that we back onto fields available for added outdoor play (which is great for hide & seek, conker/blackberry picking, scavenger hunts/nature walks & burning off energy) together with a large dedicated playroom & downstairs toilet. My home is within walking distance of local shops, school and park.
Positive feedback on questionnaire's received by the parents. They value the fact that children are part of the family and enjoy the activities provided in a home from home environment together with the opportunity of lots of sensory and messy play activities.
We meet up with other local Childminders & attend various groups which helps the childrens’ social skills & gives experience of being in larger groups. I often plan trips out during school holidays, which provides children with stimulation, variety and exercise. My Husband, Paul, who is registered as my Assistant, will often join us to assist in days out.
My Experience
I have also worked in a pre-school & ran the hot lunch facility at the local school. I care for all children in my setting with equal concern.
