My Experience

I have been teaching for over 15 years and have experience working with children of all ages including ALN.

I have worked for Sitters Childcare services for over 10 years and have excellent reviews, availability and reliability scores. During my bookings I have experience with bedtimes routines, administrating medication, changing nappies, communicating with parents and interacting with the children. If it’s a day time booking I’m comfortable with cooking meals and taking the children for local walks if requested.

I currently babysit for a wide range of regular familiars including ALN provision. I’ve also 3 years experience working in a care home and this skills have been transferable when changing nappies for non verbal, autistic children.

My Qualifications

I have a degree in Contemporary Textile Practice and a full PGCE teaching degree. I was also the first aider for my Head of Girls Boarding role. I also have my level 2 hygiene certification for food preparation and various safeguarding certificates. Fully DBS checked.

My Availability

I’m available evenings after work from 3:30pm until late and weekends. I can work up to early hours in the morning as well as over nighters. I also take on work during the school holidays.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.50 per hour

£12 an hour depending on location and distance to drive. Usually there’s a higher rate for day time bookings and a set amount for overnight bookings. I tend to use my sitters rates as guidance.

The families who I regularly sit for usually book a minimum of 3 hours but I do at times do 2 hour slots depending on distance needing to travel.
