About Me

I am a reliable,kind, patient person, I have the NNEB qualification in childcare & Level 4 NVQ, first aid,food hygiene, equality and diversity,Safeguarding plus many more certificates to enhance my position which I update regularly. I am looking for term time, school hours as I take my 4 year old Granddaughter to school in Cramlington. I am available any days aswell as weekends & am willing to do household chores as well as caring for the children.

My Experience

I have worked in a Nursery in Cramlington for 2 years, a Nursery in Jesmond for 7 years after having worked in a Private Day Nursery for18 years in Yorkshire. I started as a Nursery Nurse in the Baby room, then moving around all the 5 playrooms to gain experience of all ages from 0-5 years. The setting also had an Out of school/holiday club for children from 5-11 which I worked in too. I worked myself up in the company and became the manager 7 years ago. I thoroughly enjoyed my position and it was a very difficult decision to leave however I felt the need to move closer to my 2 grown up daughters. I had my NNEB certificate in childcare then in 2013 I gained my NVQ level 4 in childcare to maintain my Managers role. I have my 1st Aid certificate and numerous certificates relevant to childcare including Equality and diversity, Safe sleeping for babies, working with parents, and Early child development. I was responsible for running the Day nursery managing 20 staff members maintaining a happy,,friendly, safe environment. I made a lot of friends with the parents who I am still very much in touch with. I have a DBS certificate & 1st Aid plus lots of relevant training completed.
