I am a mum to a handsome little boy who is 12year old now.
I am originally from South Africa but have lived in the Uk since I was 14.
I am hard working and enjoy watching children grow and thrive in my care.
I also look forward to working with parents to provide a home from home environment. X
My Experience
I have been a child minder for just over 11years . I worked in a fantastic nursery for 10 years as a fully Qualified nursery nurse with a SVQ level 3 in child care. I left to have my little boy and made the choice that child minding would fit the needs of my family after a parent approached me and planted the seed to be their childminder.
Iv been a childminder since 2014
I now look forward to making this work for my family and other familiars.
My Qualifications
Fully qualified nursery nursery with an SVQ level 3 and 10years experience. I am also a mum to a very active little boy who has adhd and dyslexia.

- Childminding from £6.00 per hour

We sent both our kids to Jamie-Lee from ages 1-3 and had such a great experience. Jamie-Lee is fantastic at her job, she was so great with them from babies right through to preschoolers - both our children took a while to adjust to childcare but she was just excellent, patient and caring until they were both running there to go every day like a home from home. Would recommend without hesitation!

I am writing to highly recommend Jamie-Lee Patterson as a childminder. Over the past eight years, she provided fantastic support and care for our son and daughter, who are now aged 6 and 9.
Jamie-Lee created a safe and supportive environment for our children. Her patience and kindness helped them both feel comfortable and secure. She planned numerous and varied activities that kept them engaged and stimulated; from educational and creative games (such as craft projects and baking) to outdoor play (including trips to the zoo, beach, parks, museums and trips to visit local landmarks).
Jamie-Lee was reliable, professional and organised. She communicated effectively with us about our children's progress and any concerns, which we greatly appreciated.
In addition to her day-to-day responsibilities, Jamie-Lee helped instil important values, such as respect and responsibility. This was particular the case as she had other older and younger children who were also in her care. Her influence has been positive and lasting. She also allowed us to flex our children’s wrap-around care to full days during the school holidays, which was incredibly helpful.
Overall, Jamie-Lee has been a dependable and considerate childminder and we are grateful for the care she provided to our children. I recommend her to any family seeking a trustworthy and dedicated childminder that gets the best out of children.

I used Jamie-Lee as a childminder for my baby boy who was 6mths old at the time of starting, when returning to work after maternity leave, I was very anxious about leaving him but Jamie-Lee put me at ease right away, she was very friendly and professional, really got to know my son beforehand with settling in days, and my son was very happy with her- lots of smiles as soon as her saw her! Would highly recommended her, I could go to work and not have to worry, knowing he was looked after to a very high standard and happy, going to different baby groups and doing lots of activities. Thank you Jamie-Lee!
