Our daughter started with Helen at 10 months (now 15 months). She attends Helen’s twice a week and has the best time! Helen is amazing with all the children in her care and provides a stimulating, fun and caring environment for them! They are always out on day trips or visiting local parks. During the hot weather they have utilised Helen’s lovely garden! I am always amazed how Helen can keep her house so beautifully clean and tidy with the children having as much fun as they do! My second is due in September and the first thing we did was secure a spot with Helen for him to! We are so lucky to have found such a wonderful child minder and knowing how happy my daughter is there is a great peace of mind when at work!

Our ten month old son started with Helen in February when I returned to work (he was 7 months old). Helen had a robust plan in place for settling in and put me at complete ease, with regular updates and photos to let me know he was having a good time. We spread the settling in sessions over a few weeks and if there were any days that he seemed to be feeling more overwhelmed, we kept in close contact - I felt like he was in safe hands and when he started to do full days, he was more than prepared for it (as was I!)
Our son always giggles and kicks his legs with excitement when we arrive at Helen's door, and she gets the biggest smile when we go inside. He seems to enjoy playing with the other children and seems to love Helen too - he is comfortable with being handed over and doesn't make a fuss. From my perspective I love to hear what they are up to each day. Helen takes them out every morning for enrichment sessions, usually to a group or a play space or a museum/kids experience.
Helen is great at keeping us updated with his naps and eating at pick up, along with any important information. I was impressed with all of the policies and certificates that Helen had in place and the information she asked for.
We have unfortunately moved away from Bristol recently and so have had to move our son to a new childcare setting. We were really sad to leave Helen's daycare - our son has built up such a fantastic rapport with her and seems to genuinely enjoy his time there. It does feel like a home away from home for him, and the care and attention and time Helen put into settling him in will stand him in good stead for his future settings.
Helen is a fantastic childminder and our experience has been only positive!

Helen has looked after our son since he was 10months old, he is now 2 and a half. She helped to make my return to work feel manageable, knowing that he was being well looked after. We plan for Helen to look after our second child too from Nov, and feel really pleased that both of our boys will have been in her care from an early age.
Helen is very knowledgeable and understanding of child development. The activities she plans are stimulating, age appropriate and consider the personalities of the children she is looking after.
We find Helen easy to communicate with, reliable and friendly. Our toddler talks of "Helen's House" most days and misses her on weekends/holidays! We would definitely recommend her care.

Elle is the most brilliant Childminder for our son. He absolutely loves it at Elles, we will be really sad when we drop to 1 day when my son goes to nursery for the other days! She is really creative and they are always coming home with themed makes, she takes them to parks, groups, soft plays etc and every week is different. Nothing is ever too much trouble and I know my son is very safe and happy in her care. We have been with her for nearly 2 years and could not recommend enough!

Helen looked after our 3 year old daughter Olivia for a year before she started school. When we first met Helen Olivia instantly warmed to her friendliness and was excited that Helen had a garden.
During the year with Helen, Olivia became more confident, developed well and enjoyed all the activities Helen did with her including meeting up with other childminders at the nearby playcentre.
We wholeheartedly recommend Helen, she is very professional, caring, loves kids and a lovely warm person.

Helen has been a great childminder for our son, he is happy and comfortable there. Her facilities are fantastic; great range of toys, great garden, good indoor space. She takes the children to a local childminding group which has special activities to stimulate development. On days where this isn't on she takes them on local days trips ie wild place, parks, soft play etc. Lovely friendly person too.

My son started going to Helen at 6 months old in September 2015 and continues to go now one day a week.
The settling in process was great with multiple visits and a short settling period without me giving me the reassurance he would be okay. Helen was happy to store and feed with both expressed breastmilk and formula when needed. Now my son is older he takes a lunch box but snacks and drinks as well as a regular group they attend is included in the hourly rate.
I have, as a parent, been very happy with the care my child is given with some structure as well as free play and ample space to play in the large garden. My son goes happily to Helen's and is usually happy when collected at the end of the day.
Helen has a communication book but will text if something is needed or clarification is required.

Helen has been looking after our son for over 6-months (and will continue to do so until he goes to preschool in 16-months time). Although I loathe to leave him (with anybody) whilst working, I have never had a single doubt that Helen would look after him with the utmost care. Not only does Helen give up to date reports on his learning development, feeding, sleep pattern, nappy changing & needs etc, she takes an active interest in him and genuinely cares. She also expands his learning after organised group activities at her home, i.e. if his morning group was learning about dinosaurs, she would then on return to her home encourage my son to play with toy dinosaurs along with a tv documentary on them. When I drop my son off, he is so keen to start the day with her, he literally closes the door on me and runs in to her home! I cannot recommend Helen highly enough and feel so very lucky to find a 'second Mum' to look after my son.

My daughter has been with Helen for 6 months 3 full days a week. Helen provides a clean, safe and stimulating environment for the children she cares for and often takes them out on trips during the day.
My daughter always looks forward to her days with Helen and often discusses the fun she has had there. I would definitely recommend her to anyone as a childminder.

Helen has been looking after my son for a couple of months now. He absolutely loves going there and enjoys all the activities. The children are well provided for with a great selection of educational and fun toys as well as a lovely garden to play in.
I can highly recommend Helen's provision
