About Me

I live in Yealmpton with my daughters 22 and 16. We have a very friendly dog, Boris.
We're a creative family with particular interests in art, craft & nature.
I enjoy being outdoors, walks, travel and spending time with friends.
My work ethos is to help children develop a strong sense of self, connection to the world and their surroundings . in today's busy society, there is less and less time to slow down, look up and notice what's around us. Children rush from school to numerous activities with little down time. It is my intention to help our young ones engage and connect with nature and each other and to learn slowly and steadily - cementing the foundations of development in an unhurried, non stressful environnent.
I run a gentle , nature based setting where children learn and gain confidence through play, walking in our beautiful village and open ended activities at their own pace.
I am currently studying towards the HYGGE accreditation .

My Experience

I have 14 years' experience in childminding and 22 years experience as a parent. I previously worked as a Dental Hygienist for 30 years and a Teaching Assistant. for 4 years.
I have been running an after school club for 7 years.

My Availability

At present all spaces are full but may be possible 4 days ( Mon to Fri) vacancies for children age 1- 4 years from September 2026. Minimum days attendance is 3 for continuity. Also available for school pick up from Yealmpton Primary School and after school care.
Earliest drop off is 0800. I can't provide earlier mornings at preset due to commitments at present.

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
  • Childminding from £7.00 per hour

£7.00 per hour 0900 to 1500 . ( 1 to 4 yrs)

After school fees available upon request.
I am registered for Government funding, Tax Free Childcare and Workplace vouchers.
Due to long hours, I no longer offer babysitting.
