About Me
Hi, I’m Kathryn & I started working as a childminder 15 years ago. I’m a mother of two boys & have always enjoyed having a house full of children, this is where my childcare journey began. I have a love for creating fun, being outdoors - the woods, park, beach, groups and storyrhymes at the library - exploring and making treasured memories. I enjoy working with each individual child towards the milestones for school readiness.
I offer flexible quality childcare for children within my home, helping them to learn & develop in a loving & secure family setting. I’m lucky enough that the children I have cared for over the years continue to come back to visit & frequently return for special celebrations - parties. To maintain effective communication, I’ve always strived to build a positive relationship with my parents. In order to provide the best service for you & your child, I offer verbal updates on a frequent basis.
As a registered childminder with OFSTED, I have a ‘good’ rating. I am paediatric first aid trained & have full public liability insurance. I’m up-to-date in terms of training, safeguarding & legislation, regularly attending early years network events and cluster meetings.
My Experience
I previously worked for Perry’s - initially in the service department, customer facing. After winning many awards, I helped to train other staff members moving on to be my managers personal assistant. After having my own two boys, I realised my passion was working with children. It has been so rewarding watching each individual child grow and move on to their next adventures.
