About Me
I was a (qualified) nanny for over 12 years, and have now been a childminder for over 12 yesrs. I live with my two lovely boys aged 20 and 14. I have lots of great references from all my previous jobs, showing my commitment and love to my job. I live in a nice house and provide a home from home environment, with lots of toys and with a great garden. We do lots of fun activities, trips out to playgroups, soft plays, the farm etc. I provide home cooked meals and all food required is included in my hourly rate. I drive a good, safe car and the children’s safety is always of utmost importance.

My Experience
I have experience with all ages from newborn. I also have some experience with special needs children.
My Qualifications
I have a Diploma in Childcare and Education Level 3 (NNEB). I am first aid qualified, have a CRB check and have a health and safety certificate. I am always updating my knowledge with regular training and courses, and most importantly I’m OFSTED registered.

Our daughter has been with Claire since she was 7 months old and she’s now nearly 2. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better care. Claire is warm, extra loving and most of all patient. Plus, she always has the children doing plenty of fun activities that help them learn and grow. We feel very lucky to have found her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to other families.

We we’re introduced to Claire back in 2018 by a good friend who had been using her as their childminder for several years.
We liked her immediately and our daughter loved every day she was in Claire’s care. She started with her at 8 months and only left to start pre-school. Her younger brother then started with her two years later.
We receive lovely updates as to the varied things they get up to. They also make many more friends than just those just in Claire’s care due to Claire’s network and sociable, fun yet structured approach.
All three of our children think of her as an Auntie and she still spends time with them all. We feel very lucky to have been introduced all those years ago.
