About Me
My name is Bryony, and I am an Ofsted registered childminder. I live in Croxley Green with my husband and 3 sons.
Our house is close to Croxley Green Station, where we have access to various different local parks, and the woods. I have a good sized secure garden, and a dedicated play area in the house, with a wide variety of toys and early years resources to allow children to learn through play.
I aim to provide a warm, caring, happy and secure home from home environment for all children. I will provide lots of fun activities and plenty of playtime. I will provide daily activities including toddler groups, outings, trips to the park, the local library, and indoor and outdoor art and crafts sessions. I will focus activities towards learning and education and the interests of the children, following the EYFS guidelines. To the children it will just be fun, playtime and creative activity! Other activities, will include story time, singing ,cooking and baking, and gardening.
I am a member of the Croxley Childminding group and a member of Childminding UK, and a member of Pacey, (the "Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years" organisation). I am also registered on the Hertfordshire directory for families, and keep up to date with information through meetings, courses, emails and contact with other childminders and my local children’s centre.

Bryony has been childminding my son (age 3) since January 2016 ( when he had just turned 1) She looks after him 1 day per week.
I have been extremely happy with the care my son has received, and the great progress he has made whilst in Bryony’s care. Bryony’s home is always welcoming, clean and well organised and my son has great fun playing with all the toys available and with the other children in her care, including her three sons. Beyond all this though, it is Bryony’s warm, fun and friendly approach which sets her apart from other childminders.
She provides a wide, fun range of activities including plenty of outdoor play with trips to local woodland. My son has enjoyed doing lots of arts and crafts with her and I even got a personalised present for mother’s day which he had made (with some help)
She is a great communicator and I’ve always felt like I could talk to her about any concerns for my son. She always has time to talk and listen to you. She had no trouble in gaining my sons confidence and trust and offered a settling in session which was very beneficial. She was well organised with her administration, showing me all her certificates and paperwork. Bryony is very reliable and in the 2 years we have been using her she has never had a day off with sickness.
I provide my sons food and I know that Bryony has had to have a lot of patience as he is a very fussy eater. She has encouraged him to eat a variety of foods I pack.
All in all I am thoroughly happy with the level of care my son receives and I’m certain that being in such a positive and happy environment has helped him develop well.
I would absolutely recommend Bryony as a great and reliable childminder. I will be sad not to send my son there anymore, the only reason we are moving on is because he will now be going to preschool.
