Hello, Im looking for a family to care for 2-4 days a week. I am Ofsted registered, hold a current DBS certificate and have over 25 years experience.
I am 47 years old, married and have a 11 year old and 5 year old twins. Im looking for a part time position, preferably within school hours so I can minimize childcare for my own children, but I can organise this if needed.
I have over 25 years of experience working as a nanny mostly in a sharing capacity for families in the Brentwood and Shenfield and more recently Chelmsford and Maldon area. I have gained an extensive range of experience, skills and knowledge over the years.
My ability to organise and multi-task would ensure the smooth running of your home creating a happy and stress free environment for children. My nature would be described as loving and caring and my strengths would be organisational and attention to detail.
I own my own car and have been driving for 25 years.

My Experience
I have been a nanny since I was 18 years old, after finishing 1 year at college attending a business administration course. Then I worked at Chelmsford College in the Administration Department, where I heard of an opportunity to work with children. For two years I did part time childcare assisting a registered childminder, and then moved to fulltime child minding.
I started nannying full time in parents' houses in 1998. My first family was with 2 boys (2 and 6). I continued with this family until 2003, by which time the children were older and the family did not require me.

This has included going to the park, indoor play areas, art projects, garden art & play, library, swimming, cinema, bowling, overnight visits to caravan & theme park days. In the holidays, I would also supervise their friends coming over to play.

My Availability
I am available to work 2/3 days, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, preferably within school hours, but arrangements can be made for my children if necessary. Chelmsford/ Maldon or surrounding areas are ideal for me. (From August 26, I will be available every day.)
I am looking for a household with 1 – 3 children, preferably 0 – 10 years, where I will work in the family home, and manage all aspects of the children’s lives.
My Fees
- Nannying from £17.00 per hour (gross)
Mileage allowance for work related trips
My fees would be dependant on responsibility and time required
