About Me
I have lived here in Llantrisant with my husband for many years after relocating for his job and enjoy being close to all amenties as well as the coast, mountains and countryside.
I have friends with whom over the years I have become a part of their children's lives. I have enjoyed being there from their early years and continue to do so as the children are growing up.
I consider myself to have a caring nature, easy going, I enjoy being out in the garden, going walking, baking and photography.
My Experience
I am NNEB qualified, have considerable experience of working with children from newborn to school age as a sole charge Nanny.
I have experience of working with twins from new born to eight years of age. I have thoroughly enjoyed the many experiences being with them as they have grown up.
I have worked in a Nursery environment as a Room Leader with children aged from 3 to 18 months. I had the day to day care and responsibility for the children, regular reports to keep up to date and working with the other members of staff.
I enjoy providing a variety of activities for children to have fun while learning about everything around them and the basics needed as they then look to approach nursery age.
I think that as well as being in the child's own home it is also important to develop social skills by mixing with other's. The playground, library, music and toddler groups can be a great way to make friends.
I believe it is valuable to provide experiences that encourage confidence, social skills where they are able to thrive in any situation. When children feel encouraged I believe they are able to develop a positive outlook through their achievements.
I have prefered to provide freshly made, home cooked food. I believe this has helped to broaden the children's appreciation of food and their enjoyment of a wide variety of tastes.
I have also encouraged children to be polite and have good manners especially when at the table. This has been beneficial when the families have been out to various venues.
I enjoyed studying and putting the wealth of experience from working with children towards qualifying with a Child Psychology and Educational Psychology Certificate.

- Nannying from £12.50 per hour (net)
