My Experience

I hold a Level 3 qualification in childcare, and I’ve built a rich and varied career working with children of all ages. For two years, I worked as a baby room supervisor in a nursery, before moving abroad to work as a children’s rep. During this time, I supported children from 3 months up to 17 years, gaining a great deal of confidence, knowledge, and adaptability. I’m skilled at tailoring activities to suit each child’s individual needs and personality.

My seasonal work gave me even more opportunities to grow — in the summer I taught sailing, kayaking, and swimming, and in the winter I taught igloo and snowman building, as well as sledging.

One of the most meaningful experiences of my career was spending three months in Africa working with children living with HIV and AIDS. I taught them about health, empowerment, and self?care, and ran kickboxing sessions to help build their fitness and self?belief. It was truly unforgettable.

Most recently, I returned home after spending a year in America as a live?in nanny. I cared for a beautiful 3?month?old baby and had the joy of watching her grow into a wonderful little girl. It was an incredible experience, and I loved being part of the family.
