Ever since my early teens I always imagined myself working with children, is something I'm really passionate about and something that I strive to do to the best of my ability.
In 2017 I gave birth to my beautiful twins, so I now truly understanding how amazing it is to have children... which has made me love my job even more... as i know how much a parent loves their child and how important it is to find the right childcare.
My Experience
I have had experience in 3 different nurseries, two being volunteer work and 1 being paid work which started off as volunteering, which turned into my full time place of work for nearly 2 years ( only left to have my own children). I have also done a short placement in a junior school, to gain teaching assistant experience.
I have worked with children as young as 3 months. I also have nannying experience, for two boys, aged 11 and 8 years old. I would pick them up from school, cook them dinner and help with any school work they would have, as well as keeping them occupied and happy. I formed a great relationship with both the boys and their parents, i always believe that it is important to create a positive relationship with a parent in order to really achieve the best situation for the child as obviously no one knows their child better than the parents/guardians.
I also have a 8 year old brother (who has Autism) and a 4 year old sister whom i regular babysit.
During my time as a nursery practitioner I worked both with babies and toddlers... the role involved feeding, bottle preparation, nappy changing, toilet training , preparing meals, general cleaning, planning and carrying out fun and educational activities ( my favourite being craft or messy play) etc...
I now have my twins, who are now nearly 3 years old, which has been the most eye opening and amazing experience ever. Can truly say that I love being a mummy!
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 BTEC National Diploma in Children's Care, Learning and Development qualification, at a triple distinction grade.
I also am Paedatric First Aid trained and am DBS checked, which is completely clear- both which will need renewing as have taken time off of work to focus on my children.
I have completed an online university course in which I was awarded a Diploma in Counselling Children and Adolescents, awarded in October 2015.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
I tend to calculate my fees according to how many hours work and different situations e.g number of children, travelling etc.., so can be discussed.
