About Me

My name is Charmaine, aka Char! I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I live in St George, Bristol. I have 2 sons aged 9 months and 13 years.

I have 10 years of childminding experience and have also worked in an internationally recognised early years setting (Planning in the Moment with Anna Ephgrave) where I worked as a Pre-school Room Practitioner before being promoted to Toddler Room Leader and Practitioner.

I offer a welcoming and relaxed home from home environment. I strongly believe that children learn through play and am passionate about letting them explore the world; which means lots of messy fun!

I am registered with Ofsted and have completed all of my childminding qualifications, paediatric first aid, safeguarding, fire safety and will continue to complete on-going training to keep my skills up to date.

I am open Monday-Wednesday 8am-6pm, Term Time Only

My Experience

I have vast experience of working with children aged 0+. Being a mummy has also provided me with a lot of first hand knowledge of caring from birth onwards.

I also have a degree in Education Studies.

My Availability

I am currently on maternity leave until September 2026. I will have 1 space available for a child aged 18 months or older. Monday-Wednesday 8am-6pm, Term Time Only.
