About Me
My name is jo , I have been childminding for over 40 years, from my home in Markyate. I live with my husband. I have 3children who have left home now.
We have a pet dog called Cassie, we also keep other animals including Birds of Prey, Chickens, homing pigeons and honey bees. .
The children enjoy helping with the animals and of course, eating the rewards.
We spend a lot of time outside and visiting various places of interest. I attend playgroups weekly to make sure the children build on their social skills and I also work closely with my good friend and fellow childminder. This is a bonus if there’s ever a need for short notice or emergency childcare.
I pride myself on offering a real home from home environment and have welcomed many children into my family who I am still in close contact with.
My experience is wide and starts with new borns up to 6years. I also have experience with special needs and parents who may need flexible hours.
My Experience
I childmind children of all ages ranging from birth to twelve years of age
i am available to take and collect children from markyate school .
i attend toddler groups on a regular basis
My Qualifications
I am a fully qualified ofsted registered childminder.
i am first aid trained.
