About Me
Hello,
My name is Rachel Ivey.
I live in Keyham with my Husband and my Son who’s 4 and my daughter who’s 6 months old. I am a Registered Childminder.
Your child will be cared for in a home-like environment within a family atmosphere. They will receive individual attention whilst also enjoying interaction with children of various ages. I will be attending regular sessions at Toddler/ baby groups, soft play centres and visits to other friends and childminders with young children.
When we can, we spend as much time out of the house as possible, visiting places such as the beach, library, park, zoo's, countryside, museums and other places of interest
All children will have chance to engage in a wide range of age and development-appropriate activities, tailored to each child's needs and interests to ensure they are able to reach their own individual potentials. I am required to work within the same curriculum as nurseries and pre-schools, the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).

• I’m a Mummy.
• I have a CACHE level 3 Diploma in Childcare and education qualification
• I have worked in a few nurseries around Plymouth and that has given my experience working with babies, toddles, pre-school and after school
• My last job worked as a baby room leader.
• I have had chance to volunteer in the play room in Derriford Hospital.
• I have been part of after school clubs, breakfast clubs and holiday clubs.
