About Me
I am a Norland Nanny with more than 25 years of childcare experience. I am enthusiastic and fun and thoroughly enjoy spending time with children. I believe that children learn the most through play and strive to make each day fun and exciting. Due to having my own children I have now registered as a childminder to also be able to offer care in my own home.
My Experience
I have worked as a nanny for more than 25 years in a variety of families and settings. I have worked with children from newborn to 18 years of age. I have worked on cruise ships, nannied overseas and worked for high profile families. I have been in both permanent and temporary positions.
My Qualifications
I have a Norland Diploma with Distinction, the NNEB, and 10 GCSEs grade A* to C.
I am also first aid trained, and have a clear DBS check. I hold a full clean driving license.
My Availability
I have a Tuesday and Wednesday space available from September 2026 and also have evenings and weekends available for babysitting / nannying services.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £8.00 per hour
I charge £70 for a full day childminding from 8am to 5pm. My nannying / babysitting rate starts from £15 per hour.
My Local Schools
This childminder has not yet informed us whether or not they provide any drop off or pick up services at local schools.

I was very nervous when first looking for a babysitter for my toddler. I had never left her alone before meeting Lucy, but she calmed all my concerns, and my daughter loves her. Lucy is a natural with children, and my daughter warmed to her almost immediately (very rare!)
I have no hesitation in recommending Lucy, she is reliable, trustworthy, and you will be glad you found her!
