About Me
Hi. I'm Verity and I have 9 year old twin boys. My job involves fairly frequent travel during the day - leaving early and getting back late maybe 4 times a month (on average). My husband has just got a job which is largely home based but with occasional week/fortnight trips away. We're hoping to find someone who would be available for ad hoc nannying and maybe monthly babysitting (to build a relationship with the boys). We also have 3 cats.
We need someone comfortable with the fact that I could be a few hours away (although we have local support in an emergency) and expect pay to reflect that.
My Requirements
Occasional, ad hoc nannying and some babysitting.

Hen nannies for my twins in 2016 from 18 months to 2 1/2. I can't recommend her highly enough. She's warm and affectionate with the children and supportive of parents (my birthday card was very special). Their time together was well planned out, balancing regular activities, crafts, trips out, quiet time and all based on my boys' (different) interests. My twins had severe food intolerances to a very common ingredient. Hen put time and effort in to making sure they had balanced food that appealed to them. Most importantly though my boys adored her and were very well cared for

Christina has been nanny to my twins from 8-13 months. The only reason she isn't continuing is that I've been made redundant and we are very sorry to lose her. She is incredibly warm and natural with children. When she joined us they were going through a severe separation anxiety stage and I was very nervous about leaving them. They loved her; she is always greeted by huge smiles and now they can crawl, demands for cuddles. She's handled the challenges of sole care of two babies brilliantly
She has been very flexible both in terms of supporting my schedule and in adapting to our parenting style. It's obviously as important to her to be supportive of the parents as to be there for the children.
