Hello, my name is Rachel Webb.
My business name is quite a mouthful but I went with it: Incy wincy spider webb's
I am an Ofsted registered childminder in Finningley.
I have been working confidently since September 2014.
I qualified as a childminder after having my second child. It was a family decision for me to start a business from home and it has been the best decision.
We have designed our home around childminding, so that children are stimulated in play and thrive. We have a large playroom purely for the children to explore and have fun. The garden is safe with play houses, an enclosed trampoline which has been sunk into ground level so there is no risk of falling off and a unique exciting climbing frame, built by my husband.
The rest of the house meets all requirements for safety with children's safety gates, locked doors and drawers etc.
although I am fairly new to childminding I have experience from being a parent to two children; Selina aged 5 and Austin 20 months. I have past experience of working with children also; some with special needs, neurological conditions and severe learning difficulties.

I am so passionate about working with children and becoming a childminder has been the best decision I've made for myself and my family. The job itself suits me so well. I am an energetic, passionate person so I put my all into everything I do; from being a parent to work and in my hobbies: art and exercise. I don't tend to take the easy option in most things but push myself and always try to excel in everthing I do. You can rest assured that your children won't have a dull day in my care.
My children love having the company of other children in their home and so my job has benefited us as a family. - They have a play friend every day!
I am known by the Finningley school at St Oswalds and by many parent's, who I have made some close relationships with just from doing the school run, even before I worked as a childminder. If you talk to them about me hopefully they will have a kind word to say and give you some peace of mind about the kind of person I am.

My Experience
My past work experience is mainly within healthcare; support worker, carer, dental nurse, mental health nurse.
Which is funny because after school I wanted to teach in a primary school and then I studied Art & design at college.
In the end though it's all come together, I work with children and we are very creative in my house most days, so the artist in me has also been put to use.
I have a background of mental health work and studies; working alongside young adults & children with Autism and severe learning difficulties. I met my husband in this line of work, so he too has a great understanding of these conditions.
I was so interested in mental health that I later went on to study as a mental health nurse, also concentrating on schizophrenia and other disorders. Then I worked in the community, helping people with on going illnesses & disabilities, post operative patients and 24 hour care patients; with ventilators/ breathing aid equipment and feeding tubes.
I have a lot of time for people and I am just a caring person. I have many fond memories working in these sectors and happy for the experience that I have gained. I have always worked full time since leaving college and volunteered my time in schools to assist teachers in the classrooms.

My Availability
I am exclusive to St Oswalds Academy school & nursery, Finningley and See-saw nursery. Please find my business cards at the school.
Please contact me for availability as I will be flexible to help those parent's who work shifts and require evening, weekend and over night care also.
I generally work every week day from 8:00 - 18:00pm
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
- Childminding from £6.25 per hour
Please enquire. My fees are fair and can be arranged as an hourly or daily rate.

We have been using our childminder for the past year, and we genuinely couldn’t have hoped for a better person to care for our children.
She is extremely experienced, professional and reliable, and it is clear how much she genuinely cares about the children she looks after. She provides a wide variety of activities that keep the children engaged, entertained and learning, while creating a warm, welcoming and safe environment for them.
We have always been particularly impressed by how wonderfully she manages a group of children of different ages and personalities. She is calm, organised and attentive, making sure every child feels included, supported and cared for.
With our busy work schedules, it can be hard to manage the school drop off and pick ups, and having someone so dependable has been incredibly important to us. We know that when our children are in her care, they are safe, happy and well looked after.
Over the past year, our children have received so much love, kindness and genuine care from her, and they have built a lovely relationship with her. As parents, having complete confidence in the person looking after your children is invaluable.
We are extremely grateful for everything she does for our family and would highly recommend her to any parent looking for an experienced, caring and trustworthy childminder. We honestly couldn’t ask for anyone better.

My daughter attended incywincy for a number of years, Rachel is just fantastic and builds a bond with every child. Her patients and love and care for each child is incredible. I always knew my daughter was in safe hands with Rachel.
1. Are you happy with the overall childcare I provide for your children? Yes the childcare that Rachel provides is amazing.
2. If there are any improvements you think I could make which would be of benefit to you? what would these be? I don’t believe any improvements are needed.
3. Are the hours I am available to work acceptable to you? Rachel is always accommodating to parents and children’s needs.
4. Are you happy with the activities I provide for your child/children? Do you think these could be improved in any way? Rachel always provides the children with a variety of activities.
5. Are you happy with the information I provide with regard to your child’s daily routines? Is there any further information you would like? Rachel always keeps parents updated with daily routines, and important information.
6. Do you feel that the care I provide is both professional and personal to your child? Rachel is always professional with the children that she cares for, and treats every child as an individual, and as part as her family.
7. Does your child look forward to coming to my setting and what do they enjoy the most? Masie always enjoyed all the activities that Rachel provided, her favourite was always outdoor activities.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review Gemma, even though Masie has grown and I no longer child mind her. I’m pleased we have become friends through this and stay in contact. Having Masie was a joy, seeing her come out of her shell and drop the ‘too big to play’ image was an achievement. However, she IS grown up now; going into year 11, time has really flown. I know she’ll do amazing in life, let’s see if she becomes a police officer after all - she’d make a good one!

I wouldn't have managed for the past 5 years without Trust and flexibility of Incy Wincy Spiders Webb, i go to work confidently knowing my children are happy and settled. Rachel helps to develop and set routines and by working with both Child and parent, listening and understanding.
Excellent out door space, the kids love.
