Hi,
I'm Chelsea Scarlett aged 26 and a mother of one ( 9 month old son) I am a very warm, friendly and approachable person who understands the importance of children and families having their own individual needs.
I am an animal lover having lived on a farm for many years, I love reading (when I get the chance) various sports and enjoy experiencing different cultures.
My Experience
I have recently completed a Fda In Early Childhood Studies with Plymouth University (mature student)
I have also spent 3 years working in a local primary school across all age ranges from preschool up to Year 6 and with children with additional needs. My role also included teaching Maths and English on varying levels, as well as swimming with children with additional needs with the aim to boost confidence in all aspects of their lives.
Being a mother recently I certainly have new born experience and a great understanding at how mums can feel leaving their precious bundles and the need to find a confident and trustworthy child minder/nanny.
I am also a qualified breast feeding support worker and volunteer to help other mums.
My Qualifications
2:1 Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Studies
Level 2 Safeguarding Children
Level 3 Breastfeeding Peer Supporter.
My Availability
I am avalible 7-6 weekdays but preferably only 3-4 days a week from March. (Willing to discuss longer days and hours if needed) my son will be with me whilst caring for your child.
I can also do term time or just school holidays if needed.
I am flexible with hours and understand circumstances can change within families therefore open to discussion.
