I have a genuine love for the outdoors and often incorporate nature-based activities into my childcare routines, including park visits, cycling, and walks. I also enjoy arts and crafts, toy making, and other hands-on creative projects that help stimulate imagination and fine motor skills.

As ever with this type of employment it is a difficult decision because you are leaving your children with a complete stranger and you therefore rely heavily on references. However after good interview and just 15 mins on the phone with her previous employer we were in no doubt that Silmara would be perfect for us. If anything Silmara turned out to be better than described. Her experience, maturity and friendly nature made her a pleasure to work with.
On the practical side Silmara is hard working and extremely punctual. A self-starter, diligent, practical, fastidious and conscientious. Silmara does not see herself as solely a carer or minder of children but also recognises her role in supporting their development and education which she did with ease. Emotionally Silmara proved to be very kind, loving and generous towards our children who greatly enjoy her company and I am sure will miss her greatly when she leaves.
As a final word, I would like to pass on what Silmara’s previous employer said to me. ‘She is fabulous, don’t hesitate, just employ her’.
