My Summary

My Experience

I have worked as a nanny and babysitter with Childcare.co.uk for 10 years. For 6 months over lockdown, I worked for a local family looking after their 3-year-old daughter 3 or 4 days a week and occasionally their older sons, who were 6 and 8. I still babysit for this family. Previously, I was a Nanny for a 5-year-old boy for 9 months; picking him up from school and looking after him until the evening, and also looking after him for full days during holiday time. I worked as a babysitter for most of my teens and twenties, babysitting for neighbours, family friends and families from my church. I have babysat for children of many ages, from as young as 18-months, so I believe that I can be trusted with children of most ages. For 3 years, I also worked at a children's summer Playscheme with Four Towns Play Association; one summer as play worker and the following two as play leader. Through this, and my work as a singing tutor and teaching assistant, I have worked with children of all ages, often on a one-on-one basis. From October 2020 to June 2021, I worked as bank staff at a nursery. I was based in pre-school, however, as bank staff, I worked in the toddler and baby room occasionally, gaining experience of working with all children aged 6 months to 4 years. I have infant and early years experience.
