About Me
My name is Danielle Bowd and I am 30 and live in Ulverston with my husband and our 2 daughters. I am available to do childcare day or evening, as one off weather it is at your home or at a hotel you are stay at for a wedding or evening out, or long term please feel free to contact me with enquiries. I love working with children and before going on maternity in September I worked in a local nursery and as a private nanny for a family with 3 children aged 4, 3 and 2. I have looked after all 3 since babies and the latest one since newborn. Before this I worked at Rascals Nursery in Ulverston for 4 and a half years. I have a level 3 qualifications in working with children's and young people's work force. I am enthusiastic and enjoy doing fun activities which encourage children's learning and development, taking trips out to places such as the park or library, singing songs and playing games.
My Experience
At Croftlands nursery covering maternity in the 0-2s room.
Worked as a private nanny for a family as stated above for 3 years part of this included working abroad for 6 months.
Private nanny every other Saturday for 2 years looking after 2 girls ages 1 to 4 years old.
Nursery nurse at Rascals nursery for 5 years where I completed my apprenticeship then got taken on full time. I experience working with children newborn to 7 years including 3 years working with babies doing specialist qualifications on 0-2 year olds. I have attended several courses on promoting children's development.
