My Experience

I love working with children and its all I ever wanted to do. I did my HNC in childcare in 1998 at Stevenson College in Edinburgh, worked in Council Pre-school nursery as a nursery nurse, then became a Nanny, over the years caring for children as young as tiny babies to 8 year olds, including caring for 3yr old triplets. After having my second child in 2006 I decided the way forward was to become a childminder and care for other peoples children in my own home. I fully Registered and on my last inspection received a grade 5 (Very Good).. With the children I do a range of activities, they enjoy going out on walks, to parks, feed the ducks, painting, making our own play dough, baking (sometimes), meeting with other friends, going to groups or just general play with all the exciting toys we have.

I worked in partnership with West Lothian council and can have children placed with me for ELC.

I now have an HND in Early Learning and Childcare, am first aid trained and child protection along with many other courses.

My Qualifications

I have an HNC in childcare and education and an HND (UHI) in Early Learning and Childcare.
I do regular training courses on First Aid, Child Protection etc.

My Availability

Part time. Consider after school.

• Nannying from £20.00 per hour (gross)

My rate is £20 ph
