A wonderful, caring and emotionally-engaged childm

Rachel provides a unique setting which values childrens' natural curiosity and innate creativity. Our daughter adores Rachel and is so excited to go to her house on her childcare days. She chatters merrily about the interesting things she has discovered in the natural world with her friends under Rachel's care. I only wish we had known about Rachel when our eldest was in their Early Years as we would have happily sent them there as well. She has an innate understanding of the importance of child-led play and there is such magic our little one finds in her days there. She is safe, cared for and appreciated for who she is in Rachel's care. We couldn't recommend this childminder more. Thank you so much Rachel xx

We ❤️ Rachel

Rachel has looked after both our children from ages 1-3. We've been really happy with the care and the environment that she provides. Her experience with helping children in language development is really evident. The settling in process was very smooth and the homely setting very comforting in the early years. As our children got older, Rachel has been brilliant at encouraging their independence and encouraging the older children to help and play together with the younger ages. They do a range of activities indoors at home or in a local playgroup, and outdoors in the park or Rachel's allotment. The kids often come home telling us about the exciting things they've seen (yesterday it was a stripey caterpillar in the park) and Rachel provides great updates via whatsapp.

We feel so happy and lucky that Rachel was able to look after our children and would not hesitate to recommend her to any other parents.

Wonderful first setting for under 3s

After a rocky attempt at settling in our then 11 months old daughter at nursery, which resulted in more distress for her than we were prepared for, we were nervous about her starting childcare away from home in general.

Upon meeting Rachel, we were immediately reassured. She is an experienced professional, who is caring and a natural with this age group. She is clearly really thoughtful about her approach, which starts with the settling in process. She takes time and care to understand each child as an individual they are, and you can tell how passionate she is about her role. Within a week, our daughter was settled and happy.

Rachel takes the children out on park walks and to her allotment. Our daughter's language and social skills have really developed already in the few months that she had spent there.

We would 100% recommend Rachel to any parents looking for a home from home environment for their child.

Amazing childminder

Rachel was the childminder for my daughter from 11months to 3.5 years old. I couldn’t have been happier with the care she provided. From days on the allotment trampolining or learning about nature, to trips to the park and local children’s group, my daughter was learning and being nurtured in a small, safe and loving environment. I really felt my daughter benefited from the focused care and support in Rachel’s homely setting, as well as developing close friendships with the other children there. Rachel always went above and beyond for my daughter and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

Very Attentive, my Kid can't wait to go in.

Rachel has been an excellent Childminder for our 2 year old. She communicates well with parents, has good advice about the changing stages of a baby into a toddler. She takes them to the park regularly, has a lovely outside area for the warmer months, and is very accommodating for any specific needs required.

Fantastic childminder

We're so pleased with the care Rachel gives our son. Rachel has supported him in learning many skills - he was so proud of himself the day he learned to put on his shoes by himself! Our son has enjoyed the wide variety of activities and experiences that Rachel has provided, from growing courgettes to baking cakes and frequently exploring the nearby park and woods. Rachel is great at keeping us up to date with details of each day. I would highly recommend Rachel.

Amazing childminder

Rachel has looked after my children for six years, caring for them as babies and preschoolers, then picking them up after school. She unfailingly provides gentle, appropriate care. The kids have loved going to her and developed a genuine attachment to her. We are now moving house and I wish we could take her with us! Her communication with us as parents is always friendly and clear, and we trust her to deal with any problems that arise.
