About Me

I’m a qualified professional nanny looking for either a new nanny role with a lovely family after being made redundant from my last live out nanny job of 7 years
I also decided to go down the route of registering as a childminder due to there not being many nanny roles advertised. Ideally I’d love to continue my nannying career with the right family. I was also registered 10 years ago as a childminder from my home ! Which I thoroughly enjoyed.

My name is Tina Luscombe, I live in wainscott Kent ME2

I have over 40 years of professional childcare experience, working as a daily nanny within private family homes. Throughout my career, I have cared for children from newborn babies through to 12 years of age, supporting their individual needs and development at every stage of childhood.

In addition to my nannying experience, I previously worked as a registered childminder from 2010 to 2015, providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating home-based environment for children and their families.

I am currently in the process of completing my Ofsted registration, with Tt’s Childminding due to open in Autumn 2026

My Childcare Approach

I believe every child deserves to feel safe, valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential. My aim is to provide a warm, caring, and welcoming environment where children can learn, develop confidence, and have fun through play and everyday experiences.

I understand the importance of building strong relationships with both children and parents and believe that working in partnership helps children thrive.

Experience with Babies

Caring for babies has been a significant part of my childcare career. I have extensive experience caring for children from birth onwards and understand the importance of providing a calm, loving, and responsive environment during the early years.

I am experienced in:

* Establishing and maintaining routines
* Bottle feeding and weaning support
* Sleep routines and settling techniques
* Nappy changing and personal care
* Supporting physical, emotional, and social development
* Encouraging communication and language skills
* Providing sensory and age-appropriate play experiences
* Supporting parents through key developmental stages

I recognise that every baby is unique and work closely with parents to ensure continuity of care between home and the childminding setting.

Experience with Toddlers and Older Children

I have many years of experience supporting toddlers and school-aged children through important stages of learning and development.

Activities and experiences will be planned around children’s interests and abilities and may include:

* Story time and early literacy activities
* Outdoor play and physical development

* Sensory and imaginative play
* Educational games and activities
* Support with school readiness skills
* Homework support where appropriate
