About Me

Hi my name is Tina . I am English and live in the wainscott area of Medway ! I’ve been happily married to my husband for over 38 years ! We have 3 grown up children of our own . I'm 58 years old and I'm currently coming to the end of a seven year job as a daily nanny ! I am a highly experienced and qualified childcare professional with over 40 years’ experience, holding a Level 3 Diploma from the National Association for Maternal and Child Welfare, achieved through a comprehensive two-year course. With a strong background as both an Ofsted-registered home-based childminder and a daily nanny, I bring a wealth of practical experience, dedication, and warmth to every role.

I am passionate about supporting children’s development within a nurturing, engaging, and structured environment. I create fun and stimulating activities that promote creativity, confidence, and learning through play. I have particular strengths in arts and crafts, as well as baking and cooking with children, encouraging both enjoyment and the development of practical life skills.

I promote a well-rounded daily routine, organising a variety of activities such as soft play, painting clubs, singing sessions, horse riding, and swimming. I also place strong emphasis on educational development, providing tutoring support and ensuring that homework, reading, and school projects are completed consistently and to a high standard.

In addition, I confidently prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals for the children and am happy to extend this to include meals for parents, ensuring the whole household is supported where needed. I am always willing to go the extra mile, assisting with tasks such as ironing, tidying, and keeping the home clean and organised. I ensure children are well cared for in the evenings, including getting the children bathed and ready in their pyjamas for a smooth and relaxed handover when parents return.
