We feel incredibly lucky to have found Nita and Lou to care for our little boy, Rowan. He is now 19 months old and has been with them since he was 10 months, and it has been such a positive experience for all of us.

Rowan absolutely loves going there each day, which says everything. Nita and Lou create such a warm, happy and nurturing environment, and it is clear they genuinely care for him as if he were their own. As a parent, that level of trust and reassurance is invaluable.

They spend lots of time outdoors and regularly take the children on outings and excursions, which we really appreciate. It is wonderful knowing Rowan is not only well cared for, but also stimulated, active and enjoying new experiences.

They have also been incredibly accommodating and understanding of the realities of working parent life. On one occasion, we needed to add an extra day at relatively short notice, and they were more than happy to help. That flexibility has made a huge difference to us.

Communication is excellent. They are always prompt which gives great peace of mind. I also love the weekly Tapestry updates with photos and videos. It is obvious from these how much fun Rowan is having and how engaged he is in everything they do.

Nita and Lou are genuinely lovely people, friendly, approachable and clearly passionate about what they do. I would not hesitate to recommend them to any parents in York looking for affordable, trustworthy and caring childcare.
