We are so grateful to have found Srini. She has looked after both our boys for 6 and 4 years respectively and has been absolutely wonderful. From the very beginning, she made them feel safe, happy, and excited to spend time with her.
Our son started at Srini around the age of 18 months. Prior to that, he was attending a local nursery one day a week (paid full day, as per their requirements but stayed for about 4 h). We did this because he would have gain automatic place in the next stage nursery which was fully booked. It had outstanding reviews and was oversubscribed. Although, there is no need to talk about the nursery, I think it is important to get the whole picture, as it wasn’t in our intention to find a childminder. Needless to say that the things didn’t go great at the outstanding nursery. I used to drop him to nursery on Friday at 10 in perfect health, collected him at 15:00 poorly, cold, dirty and upset with 4 wet and dirty changes (already), still wet and dirty, hungry and tired. He was allowed to play by himself outside with cold water in the winter unsupervised. He would be unwell for the whole week and sometimes for 10 days after. So, in a month he would attend about 2 half days. Work was impossible and communication with the young staff at the nursery was one way. Funnily enough, on the last day one person (she looked about 16 to me) asked me to explain the mark on my son’s bum (implying some wrong doings in my household). It was a birth mark that they did not notice in the 6 months my son attended (on and off). I felt helpless. I was furious and should have been more vocal about my complains, but it was in vain.
In my long research, (while in bed with my always unwell son, with temperature or cough), I found Srini within less than mile to me. I begged her to give us a chance, since she was full at the time. Soon enough a place was available. I did explain that George gets sick all the time and that we see a doctor about twice a month. We started gradually from one day per week to at some point full time. And OMG, I got my life back.
From day one, my son was fine. The following day, he pushed by me and went inside. I had mixed feelings. How the same child that was continuously unwell was doing amazingly? Srini is not just a childminder. She has experience, she cares about her children and parents alike. She cooks for them (seriously, no need for soggy packed lunches). Can I say that my son went from strength to strength. Communication amazing. George came out of his shell. She sent me videos of him singing on the microphone. She always celebrated their birthdays.
She took my children: bowling, zoo, trick or treat. She is amazing and is the picture of patience. I learnt so much from her. We all love her and wish she will be there forever to support our community. She can teach a thing or two about caring for children. She even throws pool parties for the kids in the summer. How cool is that? The kids learnt manners, songs, nevertheless to have fun and to enjoy a cup of tea and biscuits 😊
Srini provides a nurturing and caring environment while also encouraging learning and play. The boys always came home full of stories about the fun activities they’d done, and it was clear they were thriving under her care.
What we especially appreciated was and is her attention to details, her flexibility, great communication, healthy meals, creative activities, patience. It really gave us peace of mind knowing our children were so well looked after. Did she take care of them? 100% I always collected them in good health, good spirits and full of beans and amazingly clean.
We couldn’t recommend Srini more highly — she is truly wonderful, and we feel very lucky to have had her care for our children. She is an important member of the Loughton community. Every experienced teacher and parent in the area knows and respect her. Does she deserve a 5 star rating? 6 will do her justice, but then again, we need to follow the rules.

Thank you so much for the heartwarming and kind message, Laura. I’m truly touched. It’s been a pleasure looking after your wonderful boys
Srini has cared for my little boy for a couple of years now and sadly today was his last day with her due to starting school. To say we are devastated is an understatement.. my son is very sad at the idea of not arriving at Srini’s house everyday. Srini and her family treated my son as if he was one of their own, my son spoke so highly of his days with Srini and I always felt so so comfortable knowing he was safe in her care which is all a parent could ever ask for. Srini is kind, welcoming and patient with the children she looks after and she has a very warming aura about her that immediately puts you at ease. My son and me will miss Srini dearly but we will be staying in touch so they can keep the strong bond they have created together. Thank you so much Srini, I hit the jackpot finding you! G x

My daughter has been with Srini for over 2 years and she has blossomed under Srini’s care. Srini provides a caring, fun and safe environment for the children which my little one looks forward to going to. Srini works with the parents to address individual needs be it with potty training to fussy eaters. My little one refused to eat fruit but under Srini’s care she’s now enjoying it. Srini offers the kids lots of activities and often take the kids to the park and explore the local wildlife. They have a large area within the house to play in which has all the toys and crafts the kids need to entertain themselves with. We are very grateful for Srini and the love and care she’s shown to our little one.

Srini has looked after our daughter over the last 2.5 years and we couldn’t have been more pleased with her. Srini is kind, caring, extremely attentive and has a very patient nature. She understands every child is different and had made sure our daughter was made as comfortable as possible. We always hear about the great things the kids have been up to and the activities are always varied with lots of fun included. We’ve also left our son in her care too and both are happy and well looked after.
As full time working parents, we feel that the times of childcare offered by Srini is flexible and works for our family. This also includes any adhoc days where we need childcare she will always try her utmost to accommodate us.
Her home is warm and welcoming with everything required for a child safe environment and we would highly recommend to friends and family.

Thanks very much for your comment. Very much appreciated x
As a full time working mother based in the City, it was extremely important to find someone that I trusted implicitly with my son Ethan. He hated our local nursery and was never given much attention, so it was heart breaking for me to see how distressed he was.
From the moment, Srini opened her front door, I knew immediately that my gut told me that she was right for us a family, and for my son. Her home is cosy, warm, extremely clean, open space with a huge selection of toys. Her garden is also amazing with lots of outdoor swings and slides and very clean.
I cannot thank or credit Srini enough for the way she patiently deals with Ethan even when he is throwing massive tantrums. She really is attentive, highly patient and has this natural ability to enable any child to warm to her.
Srini is one of a kind and very flexible and she will always do her utmost to accommodate our needs and has and will always go the extra mile for us.
I would not have been able to do my job competently or happily without Srini. The fact that I know Ethan is so happy with her enables me to enjoy work again without feeling guilty.
Another added bonus is that her husband and children are all delightful, lovely and very fond of the children there.
If I'm honest, I was a little reluctant to write this as I want Srini all to myself but she absolutely deserves these comments and it is all a credit to her as a person and her continuous hardwork.
Thanks again Srini!! You are the best!

Our son started with Srini at the age of 1. Prior to starting he had been at a local nursery, and over the winter had caught one bug after the other and was never happy when we dropped him off at Nursery even when he was well.
We decided to take him out of the nursery as we felt the nursery was very rigid in following their rules, and lacked the flexibility and experience to provide our son with the care and affection he needed, e.g. if he needed to be held or if he had just been recovering from a cold he would still be getting taken outside on a wintery day.
With Srini, from day one of dropping Fred off he was much happier than he'd ever been at nursery.
Both myself and my husband work long hours and Srini has been very flexible with us, and has removed all the stress we had before when back at work and leaving our son in nursery. Srini has a great empathy and understanding of what parents want for their children from their childcare.
Srini's home is very clean and well laid out for young children, with space to run around, and she has an extensive range of toys (indoor and out), books and other arts and crafts.
Srini makes homemade food and on days when our son had been unwell and not eating on time, Srini had made sure to offer him food as soon as he was feeling able to eat.
Srini also takes the kids out to different playgroups, libraries, parks and on nice days in summer will take them to local farms.
We are really happy with Srini and can't thank her enough.

Srini is very caring and hands on with the kids who love the warm and friendly environment she creates. I don't worry at all about my boys when they are with her as they are always happy and fed when I pick them up. Srini takes them to the park & play groups. They enjoy their time with Srini and I have very much piece of mind leaving my children in her care.

My daughter was only 5 months when she started at Srinis. Srini takes very good care of children and the kids love her back equally. Her own children are very talented skilled and very smart. I knew my little girl was in good hands. My little girl is very fond of Srini and her family. Shaurya has learned quite a lot.I wait to meet my daughter to hear first hand what she has learnt. Srini keeps her house spotless clean. Her house is always kids friendly with loads of books, toys and activity to keep every one busy and happy any time of the day.
thank you Srini for everything :)

She is so caring with our 16 months old twin boys. They really love going to Srini and play with all the other kids and her children. They learnt so much... I would recommend Srini eventhough I would prefer to keep her for us only :)
