Hello! I’m Amy :) I'm a warm, optimistic and creative 32 Yr old, with over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns through to teenagers.
I truly believe working with children is my life purpose. There is nothing more rewarding to me than helping a child feel happy, confident and safe and bringing joy into their everyday world.
I would describe myself as super caring, thoughtful, energetic and deeply intuitive with children. I naturally build strong, positive connections and always aim to bring out the very best in every child I care for. :)
A Little Bit About Me
My biggest passions are singing and song-writing, which naturally weave into my childcare style. I love creating magical, imaginative days filled with:
• Storytelling, songs and creative play
• Outdoor adventures, nature walks and park games
• Arts, crafts and “mini performances”
• Confidence-building activities and gentle encouragement
Whether it’s organising a “mini Olympics,” building dens, exploring local hidden gems or enjoying a cosy library afternoon. I create days that feel fun, nurturing and meaningful. I have come from a big family so have always been around the family BUZZ! :)
I also deeply respect the need for calm, slower days and love supporting children emotionally too.
Exciting New Chapter
We are newly settled in Bury St Edmunds, and I’m really looking forward to discovering all the hidden gems this beautiful town has to offer with the children I care for- from playgroups and fun classes to nature spots and little daily adventures.
I am also a newly certified Children’s Mindset Coach, which means I gently incorporate tools that support:
• Confidence & self-belief
• Emotional wellbeing
• Kindness & resilience
• Positive thinking & communication
Because of this, I am currently looking for a part-time role (2 days per week) so I can continue growing this passion alongside Nannying.
Flexibility Around My Own Little One
I have a loving 1-year-old daughter & 5 year old son who attends school. I’m open to bringing her along as a lovely playmate and companion for your child — something many families find really special and beneficial socially.
However, I also have childcare fully arranged for her, so I’m equally happy to attend without her depending on your preference.

Amy is exactly the person you want coming over to look after your kids. She’s upbeat, caring and keen to have fun with the kids - they are never stuck on the TV!
Anytime we have an evening booked, my two are asking for Amy.
