About Me
I am a 30 year old mum of two. I have a huge passion for children and have worked with children for over 10 years now, as well as raising my own two children who are now 5 and 1. My youngest child is set to start her childminders in September and I am looking for a part time job around the Basildon/pitsea area. Ideally I'd like one or two day maximum a week.
My Experience
I have worked in childcare since leaving school at 16. I started out working in a nursery and soon became the leader of the baby room, I stayed in this job for around 8 years up until I left to have my own child. During this time I ran both the baby room and preschool room so I have a wealth of knowledge around children and have also worked 1:1 with children with SEN.
After having my first daughter I sadly decided to leave my nursery role as I wanted to spend more time with my daughter and currently worked full time. I decided to become a part time nanny which allowed me to spend more time with my little girl. During this time I looked after 3 children under 2.
I recently left this role when becoming pregnant with my second child. She is due to start childcare in September and I'm hoping to find a part time job.
My Qualifications
I am qualified in level 2 and 3 childcare and education and passed my level 2 with the grade A*. I have also previously undertaken safeguarding training, food hygiene and first aid training
