My Experience

As a childcare provider for over 27 years. I have a very good understanding of child development. Working in different work settings has helped me to gain lots of transferable skills, supporting children to meet their individual milestones, whilst providing them with fun and age-appropriate activities. Organizing trips I.e museums and places of interest, local parks and encouraging curiosity in nature. Organizing play-dates to support further development of social skills and physical development. Keeping myself up to date with activites in the local area to attend with the children in my care.
Providing nutritional meals & snacks
Prior to this, I fostered for Barnet Authorities for fifteen years. Caring for newborns to teenagers. This experience has enabled me to become confident in providing day to day care for newborns. Whilst providing the day to day care for the children placed in my care. I provided them with a loving, safe, and nurturing family home. Ensuring they received opportunities to reach their full potential and individual needs.
I have worked in a nursery and family center setting, implementing the EYFS legislation.
I previously worked in a baby room two days a week, and with 3-5-year-olds three days a week. Reporting to parents on a daily basis on their child's development, and wellbeing.

My Qualifications

I have a NNEB qualification in child care
Stage 2 in BSL
Current Paediatric first aid
Current enhanced DBS

My Availability

I am available to start from late August/September 2026
I am available for interviews prior to this date.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
• Nannying from £18.00 per hour (net)

£18 an hour net.
