About Me
Hi,
My name is Emma.
I am married and have two children of my own.
I live on the Woodchurch, directly opposite St Michaels and All Angels school.
After having two children of my own it made me value the importance of high quality childcare. I believe children benefit hugely from quality experiences created for them in the early years. At Auntie Em's learning is fun, we provide lots of fun activities both at home and out and about in the local community.
I have a huge play room and a log cabin with tons of resources.
I also have a barked garden with play bikes, slides and a small wooden playhouse. We also have a mud kitchen and water wall.
I am very energetic and love being around children.
I also have an assistant working alongside me, my sister Mandy. She has lots of experience of working with children and is a huge asset to the nursery. We also have an apprentice working alongside us too.
My Experience
I am a qualified nursery nurse and have worked with children from birth to sixteen over the past 24 years.
I have managed three day nurseries and spent four years working with the Wrexham fostering and Adoption team.
I am also a trained NVQ assessor in childcare.
I have a wealth of knowledge on child development and totally understand the importance of providing high qaulity childcare, working very closely with parents /carers .
I am also a trained dance teacher, and love musical movement with children.
I am specialised in supporting children with additional needs and have many links in the local community with speech therapists and child phycologists ect.
My Qualifications
I have my NNEB, Caring for Children and Young People level 3.
Valid peadiatric first Aid
Basic Food Hygiene
Many more certificates available to view on induction
My Availability
Childcare available Tuesday to Friday 8am - 5.30pm
Current space Wednesday and Thursday from April 2020.
I pick up from St Michael all Angels on the Woodchurch only.
We also have limited places for 2 year old funded spaces please contact me for more information. (term time only)
