I am an outgoing, fun loving and active person with a lot of experience working with children from 0-12. I have a degree in childhood education and work within children’s social services. I have lived in Cornwall all my life and love everything it has to offer. I spent a few years as a lifeguard at a popular local pool.
My Experience
My experience is widely varied. I have worked in nursery, a hotel crèche and completed placements in a primary school. I currently work for children’s social services and am very passionate about working with children and their families.
My roles have varied from planning educational activities, to planning water fights and sand castle competitions. I adored my time working in a local nursery, but am now able to put my knowledge and expertise to supporting families that need it most.
Throughout my 10 years of working in the childcare sector I have met so many lovely families and look forward to meeting many more.
My Qualifications
I hold a Level 3 diploma in Childcare and Education, a Foundation Degree in Early Childhood Education, completed with a Degree in Education and Training. I have up to date safeguarding training.

My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
Depending on the number of children, hours of work and age of child/children my fees may alter, my minimum charge will be £15 per hour.

Becca looked after my son for 5 hours one morning during our holiday in Cornwall. She was friendly and interested in my son’s likes and dislikes and quickly put him at ease before we left. Becca managed to get him to have a good sleep in his cot at his regular nap time, and made sure he ate well while we were away. We arrived back to a happy smiling toddler. He was later chatting to us about the things he had done with Becca so we’re confident he had a good time. From a logistics perspective, Becca arrived on time and was a good communicator when it came to making the arrangements for the session. I wouldn’t hesitate to contact Becca again for babysitting if we are in the area.
