About Me
Hi my name is Charlie. I am currently training to be a Childminder and should be registered by June/July and a mother of 3 children, 19, 17 and a 4 year old.
I am a caring & compassionate person who enjoys working with children.
My Experience
Whilst my children were at school I worked as a SMSA (dinner lady on the playground) & an SEN Teaching Assistant for a young boy with Autism.
I am very understanding to their needs & wants & am able to identify these individual needs quickly.
It was a one on one role involving a lot of observations & gentle progression work due to the child's needs. Examples of this included phonics, mark making, counting numbers & General social skills.
I had an amazing rapport with all the students I worked with on a daily basis as a dinner lady.
Some days I would be on the playground supervising activities & making sure children were safe at all times & other days I would be in e classrooms supervising packed lunches.
