About Me
My name is Caroline George, I am married and a mother to my 2 lovely boys aged 14 and 10. I live in a modern family home in the oakdale area. I am an ofsted registered childminder graded OUTSTANDING and have been registered for over 7 years and I am a member of the professional association for childcare and early years (PACEY). My husband and I are both fully CRB checked. We live in a modern house with a good size enclosed back garden for lots of outdoor fun and fresh air. We have 1 cat and 2 rabbits which love being given carrots by the children !
My Experience
I have been childminding for over 7 years and love the job I do. I plan outings to encourage the children to experience lots of different aspects in life, we visit farm's, zoo's and aquariums and on a more regular basis we go to playgroups, parks and the library. All the food the children eat here is home cooked which includes fresh fruit snacks and balanced home cooked main meals.
My Qualifications
I have undertaken many local training courses such as paediatric first aid, level 2 food safety, safeguarding, risk assessment, health + safety, parents as partners, continuous provisions, implementing the learning journey, next steps, story telling with props etc. I am always looking to improve and learn new things to help the children thrive.
My Availability
I have 1 vacancy at the moment. mon to fri. 8.00am - 5.00pm. I am flexible and will work with parents as best I can.
