About Me
Hi everyone, my name is Karen (Kaz)and I am a mum of 3 adult girls and nana to two granddaughters. I have been an Ofsted registered childminder for 30 years with the Borough of Lewisham and 5 years with Bromley. Due to moving and downsizing I became a nanny and I have been with the same family for the past 5 years Monday-Wednesday. I also work for another family on a Thursday and Friday. From September 2025 I have availability on a Monday.
I received a good in my last inspection in April 2019.
I have level 3 in Homebased childcare,
paedriatric first aid, DBS checks and Levels 1&2 in safeguarding. I also have exellent checkable references past and present. I am very experienced 0-16 years and with special needs. I have a full clean driving licence. I am here to meet the individual needs of your child closely following the EYFS. I will care for your child/children in a safe, warm, fun and loving environment. I am friendly, reliable, trustworthy, punctual, flexible, and fun. I will care for and love your child as my own. I look forward to becoming part of the family.
I am available full or half day on a Monday from September
I can also offer cover during the school holidays.

Karen has looked after my (now 17 month old) son full time for the past 9 months and she has been beyond exceptional in every way. We live in London without any family so Karen was the first person to care Tom which we were nervous about. However right from the beginning he has been settled, happy and has continued to thrive in her care.
Karen is a genuine and gentle person. She is kind, caring, honest, reliable, fun and looks after children as if they are her own. It is obvious she has a natural passion for care and I would fully recommend her to everyone.
We are moving back to NZ and are very sad to lose her, we have been so lucky up until now and it is going to be hard to find someone just as wonderful!
