Summer help, special needs experience
About Me
Hi, I’m looking for someone with a sense of humour, a sense of adventure and a lot of patience to help me out over the summer.
I would also insist on special needs experience.
My 15 year old has ADHD and a speech delay. He’s wonderful and very loving, but he is very impulsive and can be difficult, so needs someone to keep a close eye on him.
He loves football and being outside, we live very close to the Pentlands and a lovely park. He also likes crafts and games with cars.
I would love to find someone who could help over the summer holidays, for 2-3 hours at a time.
I speak Spanish and French, so would be keen to hear from people who don’t necessarily have English as a first language.
A car would be helpful but by no means essential. We are right on the no 16 bus route.
My Requirements
I’m looking for a fun, patient babysitter to help us out on an ad-hoc basis and, if at all possible, do the occasional overnight.
I pay well and promptly and would love to find someone to feel like a part of our family!
We live in a quiet area with the Pentland hills a 2 minute walk away. My boys love exploring the woods, paddling in the streams and visiting the local alpaca farm. They will also play football all day long.
