Hi, my name is Sophie. I’m 34 years old and hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development. I have over 10 years of experience working with children, ranging from newborns to five years old. More recently, I’ve also cared for older children aged 11 and 14.
I’m incredibly passionate about working with children and take pride in giving them the best possible start in life. I consider myself to be honest, caring, trustworthy, and highly organised. I always strive to create a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for every child in my care.
I own my own car, which makes me flexible and reliable with travel and pick-up or drop-off arrangements when needed.
Outside of work, I have three beautiful dogs who I absolutely adore, and I love spending time with them on long walks.
My Experience
I have many years of experience working with children in various childcare settings, where I progressed to a Deputy Manager role. I have also worked as a sole charge nanny for two wonderful children and was previously an OFSTED-registered nanny caring for four lovely boys.
Currently, I work from home for our family-run business while providing occasional babysitting for two older girls. I’m now looking to return to a full-time nanny position where I can bring my experience, nurturing approach, and commitment to ensuring children are safe, happy, and well cared for. I aim to give parents complete peace of mind, knowing their children are in trusted hands.
In my personal life, I’m very close with my three nieces and two nephews, and love having them stay with me, watching them grow, and of course, spoiling them whenever I get the chance.
