About Me
Ofsted Registered Childminder. I aim to provide a caring and reliable childminding service offering flexible hours to suit working parents’ needs. My setting is based at my family home, which I share with my husband and two children-my son who is nineteen years old and my daughter who is eleven. I am a Qualified Level 3 Early Years Educator and have previously worked for a short time as a teaching assistant at a local primary school. I have a current paediatric first aid certificate and food hygiene certificate. I also have designated lead safeguarding training and have attended various other training courses including early years communication and language. I have just recently achieved a level 3 Early Years SENCo certification and have some experience of supporting children with additional needs. I am pleased to have achieved an OUTSTANDING grade by OFSTED in my most recent January 2023 inspection with positive feedback in the teaching and development of early years speech and language, early mathematics and learning about the natural world. I offer a home from home environment, provide evening meals and a warm and welcoming setting. I build an Early Years curriculum based around nature, lifecycles and caring for the environment. We even have pet chickens in the garden! Developing awe and wonder about the world scaffolds learning through communication and language, physical development and early mathematics.

My Qualifications
Ofsted registered, paediatric first aid certificate, generalist and dedicated lead safeguarding children training, food hygiene level 2 certificate, childminding course completed. Level 3 Early Years Educator, Early years SENCo certification. Many other courses in child development and other related courses. Currently undertaking the government Early Years Professional Development programme.
