Hi my name is Joanne Mackrill. I am 52 years old. I have 2 grown up children and 4 grandchildren. I am a very flexible, hard working and trustworthy person who enjoys life working with children.
My Experience
As well as my experience bringing up my own children and assisting with my grandchildren i have experience with caring for children from 3 months to Secondary School age. I have worked as a Nursery Nurse and room leader in a Day Nursery caring for children from Baby Room up to the Pre School Room. I have also been a manager in an After School Club setting and I am presently working as a teaching assistant in a local primary school where I gained experience working with SEN children on a 1-1 basis. I have also cared for 3 boys after school , helping with homework and cooking their evening meal.
My Qualifications
Level 3 in Childcare and Development. Current paediatric first aid. Child protection. Makaton level 1 & 2.
My Availability
I am available for After school care, helping with homework and cooking an evening meal. I may be able to collect children from school depending on distance and the time that the child / children finish school as I finish my day school job at 3.30. I am also available for occasional weekend babysitting and some school holidays.
