My Experience

I first started working in a Pre-School in Newbury to do my training. Once I qualified I moved to a day care nursery, where I moved up to room deputy.

Outisde of the nursery, I did evening and weekend babysitting through the nursery for the parents, and for other people not related to the nursery.

After working in nurseries I moved over to nannying, which I have been doing for over 15 years. In my last nanny position, once my charge went to school full time, I worked as a teaching assistant in the same school. Working with years 3-8 supporting children with additional needs.

I am currently looking for a new position where I can bring my daughter along (born May 2023). I would like to combine being a mother with a nanny role, to continue bringing my new life skills to a role. I have worked with multiple children together, and I enjoy finding the busy balance of working with children.

I have worked with with a variety of age ranges from babies up to teenagers.

With in my mixture of roles, I have worked alongside parents and also as a sole charge nanny. I can follow or put in place a good routine with a mixture of activities. I enjoy cooking, and art and craft, and give all children the opportunity to learn and develop.

I have level 2 and 3 and 3 management NVQ qualifications.
