About Me
My name is Jing Xia, a native Chinese speaking fluent standard Mandarin and English. I am a Chinese Mandarin teacher and have taught Chinese for over 16 years in UK to students from different countries with diverse linguistic backgrounds and currently working in a local international business school in Aston.
I am also an experienced English and Maths tutor and a certified 11+ teacher having a very good success rate over 90% for passing 11+ tests. I have taught primary and secondary English and Maths for many years to help students improve their skills.
I am a caring and patient teacher. My lessons are enjoyable, achievable and tailor-made for any purposes. I have taught students with special education needs, such as Autism, Down's Syndrome, Aspergers and Sensory Processing disorder, etc. I always adapted my lessons to their needs.
I hold valid CRB check.
My Experience
I have taught Chinese for over 16 years in UK to students from different countries with diverse linguistic backgrounds. I am also an experienced English/Maths tutor and certified 11+ teacher and have a very good success rate with all of my pupils for passing 11+ tests, successfully grabbed places in local grammar/private schools, and achieving higher GCSE grades.
I am a patient, passionate and dedicated female teacher and my lessons are fun as well as informative, tailor-made to each student.

Jing has been teaching my son Luke since September. She is very patient and understanding of my son's special needs which puts him at ease. Before Jing, my son struggled with English lessons. Now he looks forward to them.
I recommend Jing to any parent who is looking for a good English tutor.
