About Me
Hello, I’m Cara,
I am a pre-registered childminder with a strong background in childcare and a genuine love for the early years.
I believe in gentle, respectful guidance and supporting children through calm, positive relationships. I aim to support children’s overall wellbeing through simple, healthy daily routines and encourage a balanced approach to daily life. Screen time is kept to a minimum, with a focus instead on hands-on play, creativity, reading, outdoor experiences, and exploring the world around us.
I have recently welcomed my own little one who is now 8months, and I can fully relate to the worries and importance of finding the right person to care for your little one and that works well with you. Building trusting relationships with parents is very important to me, and I believe open communication helps children feel more settled and supported.
I look forward to welcoming little ones into my care and being part of their early years adventures. Please feel free to reach out if you think we could be a good fit.

My Experience
I began my early years career working in nurseries, where I trained and gained my qualifications. From there, I progressed into nannying. This transition was a great step for me, as it allowed me to provide more tailored care and build strong, meaningful relationships with families and their little ones.
I have wanted to create a home-from-home setting for as long as I can remember, and now, with my own little one, it feels like the perfect time to take this next step.
I truly believe the early years lay the foundations for life, and I am passionate about creating a nurturing environment where children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. I know I can offer something really special to the families I work with.

Cara is great!!! My son was immediately comfortable with her which put me at ease when i struggled to leave him. She communicated with me so well by sending me pictures and videos or dropping me a text as soon as he settled or slept. I've continued with her for babysitting too after we moved and my son loves her. Would recommend 😊x

Cara was pleasant enough to speak to on the phone but changed the days/times she wanted to visit us, which we accommodated, she never did visit us and then just stopped replying to messages and completely ignored us without even "Sorry I can't help you" or "I've already taken on a position elsewhere".
