My Summary

My Experience

I have many years of experience bringing up my own two children as a single parent - who in my opinion have both grown into well adjusted caring adults - and more recently looking after two small children in Gustard Wood, Wheathampstead - often staying overnight as and when required.

In my capacity of childcare I have done the following

• Attended playgroup

• Provided a stimulating and nurturing environment

• Carried out age appropriate learning experiences

• Prepared nutritious and healthy meals

• Maintained daily routines to ensure stability

• General cleaning and tidying of family home

I also babysit two children and occasionally pick up from school and take home as and when required. This is not a permanent position - I am used as an emergency standby if parents are held up.

My Qualifications

Although I do not have any formal childcare qualifications I feel that in my role as a single parent for 20 years more than qualify to take care of any child and in any situation.

7 O'Level qualifications (Grades A - C) including English Language, English Literature, Maths and French.
